Hey guys! You met me earlier today in a parking lot in San Francisco, I never did get your names...but I'm Danielle. Hope you guys enjoyed San Francisco, I fell in love with the place today :)
Hey, thanks for visiting our blog! You were from Ontario, right? I'm Steve, the uh, slimmer one. The other guy is my friend, Mitch.
We fell in love with the city as well today. It truly is magnificent. We are staying a few nights at the Capri Motel on Greenwich, not far from where we met.
Tomorrow I think we are going to try our luck with an Alcatraz tour, we might be able to "charm" our way in. I can't remember if you booked one or not, but if you didn't manage, be sure to check back here and you can see everything we see.
And hey, if you find something really cool, drop us a line. You know where to reach us :)
Nah man, we tried to charm our way in tonight, definitely didn't work...I even asked the lady if there was a chance that people didn't show up and we could get last minute spots, no go...and we just don't have the time to wait until Saturday (which is when they told us the next available tour was). I loooove the city though...did you ride the cable cars?? You hung off the side right? That's what I did and it was awesome.
We also walked halfway across the Golden Gate Bridge, and drove up and down the crazy steep streets, so I'm pretty sure we did the important bits of San Fran...
I never did give you my blog (which I guess would be the fair thing to do) but I'm in the process of moving it onto a real blog site (the one I used was like www.mytripjournal.com) so I'll get back to you with it.
Oh and you drove the crookedest street in the world right? Or at least walked it?
legerryanroadtrip.blogspot.com is the site of my blog, but honestly it's just a lot of me rambling, so...I doubt it's all that interesting to anybody who doesn't actually know me hahaha
I will keep checking this for this funny story about driving...:P
Aww thanks but we've already moved on south of the city, heading down the coast towards Monterey to see the Monterey Bay Aquarium, supposed to be pretty neat. Thanks for the tip though, too bad I didn't get it in time....
Big Beautiful Mold hey? Heather and I have been checking your updates. Good Job boys.

Funny story about driving actually :P
ReplyDeleteWe did ride the cable cars though, for sure. Sucks about the prison, but that is just another reason to come back.
If you wanted to see King Tut, he's at the de Young museum, an adult pass is about $28, and I think they are booking for Wednesday.
Have fun :)
